MbSC2030 has signed an industry-university collaboration MoU with Toyota Motor Corporation

Mohammed bin Salman Center for Future Science and Technology for Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 at The University of Tokyo (MbSC2030, Director: Hiroaki Aihara, Executive Vice President, The University of Tokyo) has announced on January 19, 2022, that MbSC2030 has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Toyota Motor Corporation.
The objective of the MoU is to cooperate in the planning, design, and management of projects related to the use of hydrogen and other carbon-neutral fuels. It contributes toward achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, led by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The two parties will put main focus on mobility in Saudi Arabia, looking at a wide range of potential to mitigate CO₂ emissions. [Photo by Yasu Iijima]
