“Through the MiSK Foundation, we take initiatives, encourage innovation and, in turn, ensure sustainability and growth to achieve the higher goal: developing the human mind”
HRH Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz
Founder, Chairman of MiSK Foundation
Mohammed bin Salman Center for Future Science and Technology for Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 at The University of Tokyo (MbSC2030) has been established with the support of the MiSK Foundation in April 2020, to facilitate research, social innovation, and international education by promoting collaboration between Saudi universities/research institutions and UTokyo. In particular, the priority is placed on activities that can contribute to the development of next generation human resources who will be able to achieve both countries’ sustainable future. MbSC2030 will initiate multi-disciplinary joint research that will help transform both countries’ society into a truly sustainable form by providing support to those Saudi students who are willing to study at UTokyo, and also to students from UTokyo who are willing to study at Saudi universities. In addition, MbSC2030 aims to provide opportunities to create new businesses in both countries by promoting interaction between Saudi and UTokyo students. I believe that MbSC2030 will play a key role in improving the friendly and cooperative relation between the two countries even more. Finally, I would like to thank everyone involved for their cooperation and support for MbSC2030 establishment and activities.
