MbSC2030 is a Presidential Endowed Chair sponsored by MiSK Foundation and established in April 2020 as a part of the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030. MbSC2030 aims to be the pioneer in accelerating innovation in emerging technologies by enhancing international collaboration especially with Saudi Arabia and human resources development of both countries.

The two arrows are shaping an “M”, showing that the two countries are sharing the same future vision to make a better world by strong collaboration. M is not only the capital letter of the center name but also the capital letter of “Mirai” and “Mustaqbal“ both meaning “future” in Arabic and Japanese. The stylish design with a sense of dynamism also represents MbSC2030 shaping the future at a lightning speed by making full use of the leading edge of technology.
