Report on MbSC2030 Symposium

On November 15, 2023, MbSC2030 Symposium “Powering Hydrogen-based Society with Saudi Arabia and Japan” was held at Ito Hall, the University of Tokyo.

This symposium, which discussed how Saudi Arabia and Japan will move toward a hydrogen-based society, brought together government officials, researchers, and business leaders to talk about projects and research focused on hydrogen. By learning about the challenges associated with the development of hydrogen and where it is going in the future, we were reminded of the importance of international cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Japan.

More than 220 people from Japan and abroad attended this symposium, which was a hybrid of face-to-face and online sessions.

We will continue to make every effort to walk together on the road to a hydrogen society.
